  • Messages & survey responses: any information you voluntarily choose to share (our thank-you micro-survey usually does not collect personal data unless you provide it).
  • Usage data: IP address, device/browser information, and pages visited, collected via essential cookies and similar technologies for security and site operation.

Why we use your data (legal basis)

  • To deliver what you requested (freebies, replies to your messages) – Performance of a contract or consent.
  • Email newsletter & occasional updates – Consent (you can unsubscribe anytime).
  • Site operation, security, and basic analytics – Legitimate interests.
  • Legal/compliance – Legal obligation (where applicable).

Who processes your data (service providers)

We use trusted processors to run this site and deliver emails:

  • Website & forms: WordPress with WPForms (form submissions/anti-spam).
  • Email service: MailerLite (subscriber management and email delivery).
  • Hosting: Krystal Hosting Ltd (UK).
  • Content delivery & downloads: Bunny.net (CDN and file delivery).
  • Security & anti-bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile.
  • Payment processing: Stripe Payments Europe Ltd and PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.

These providers act under our instructions and with appropriate safeguards.

International transfers

Some providers may process or store data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards).

How long we keep data

  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe or we remove inactive contacts.

We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.
